WAY OF ST. JAMES

WAY OF ST. JAMES IN GERMANY

The Way of St. James is a pilgrimage route with stages throughout Europe. The destination of St. James is the alleged grave of the apostle James in Spain. Although the Jakobsweg Route already fell in the first half of the 11th century, the first Jakobsweg Route in Germany only started in 1992 and has been gradually expanded from then on.
